Eczema

So after months of trying to figure out why Sophia's cheeks were so red I think we finally figured out it is Eczema! After research and prayer to God in wisdom in how to help her, we are almost certain that is what it is.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

We went through sooo many different kinds of lotions trying to find one that would help her! It had gotten to the point that almost everywhere we brought her we would have bad looks or people telling us to put lotion on that poor girls cheeks!

Well needless to say almost a year after her red cheeks began we finally found something that seems to work!! Cortizone 10 Hydratensive Natural aloe formula healing. Check out for yourself the difference:

Now Sophia didn't look that bad everyday! But it was a battle we were constantly loosing.

And every mother knows when teething comes usually so does diaper rashes! And of course, being how sensitive Sophia is, she get hers so bad! Sometimes to the point of open wounds. First time that happened was the day Charles was born. I know wonderful timing!
But after lots of different creams for that too we seem to have found one that works! It is called Caldesene, so far it seemed to clear her up overnight.

With Sophia though one day something will work wonderful, such as a certain brand of diapers then the next day she breaks out! So i'm hopeful this will work for at least a few months!

Also some may say if your baby is sensitive you should change to cloth diapers, and in not all cases that works! Sophia would be one of those cases, she did wonderful on cloth diapers for about 4 or 5 months then started to break out from them, a red bum.
Go figure my brother was the same way, the only diaper he could wear without breaking out was a cheap disposable diaper! Guess sensitiveness just runs in our family!
