So today Friday March 16th is High 64!! and look what our forecast is for Saturday Night through Monday Afternoon!!! I am half hoping that it will turn to Rain! and half excited for snow... but its sooo late in the year with having no snow pretty much all WINTER!!! Crazy Arizona winters!!

* TIMING... HEAVY SNOW WILL BEGIN AT THE HIGH ELEVATIONS OF NORTHWEST ARIZONA SATURDAY EVENING... WITH PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS 12 TO 24 INCHES ARE LIKELY ABOVE 7000 FEET... 6 TO 12 INCHES ABOVE 5000 FEET... AND A FEW INCHES AT 4500 FEET. ACCUMULATIONS OVER 2 FEET ARE POSSIBLE ABOVE 8000 FEET.
* SNOW LEVELS... AROUND 7000 FEET SATURDAY EVENING DROPPING BELOW 4000 FEET BY SUNDAY MORNING.
* OTHER IMPACTS... SOUTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS ARE LIKELY THROUGH MUCH OF THIS STORM AND WILL CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND LOW VISIBILITIES.

.A STRONG AND COLD PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN ARIZONA SATURDAY AND CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH MONDAY. STRONG WINDS SATURDAY AFTERNOON WILL BE FOLLOWED BY HEAVY SNOW BEGINNING IN THE NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE STATE SATURDAY EVENING... SPREADING EASTWARD ACROSS THE STATE BY SUNDAY MORNING. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE HIGH AT THE BEGINNING OF THE STORM... AND EVENTUALLY LOWER TO MOST VALLEY FLOORS OF NORTHERN ARIZONA BY MONDAY MORNING. HEAVY SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE LIKELY...
